Ballard Hobart Post 36 American Legion Presented Checks In Support of the Black River Valley Senior Center and its Meals on Wheels Program

Ballard Hobart Post 36 American Legion Family recently presented checks in support of the Black River Valley Senior Center and its Meals on Wheels program. Volunteers deliver nutritious meals to seniors, veterans, and others who rely on this service for food, safety, and a human connection. Last year, the program provided more than 5,000 free Home-Delivered Meals.

The Center at 10 High Street also offers Bone Builders, Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, community meals, games, and supportive services that promote health and social connection. Volunteers are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
