Landscaping at 10 High Street

Updated: Jul 8

Thank you to Sean Kane and his people at Mountain Top Greenscapes, who last fall pruned trees and replaced plantings in the green space between the Black River Valley Senior Center and the Black River Academy Museum.  The area had been neglected for years but now is a beautiful location to enjoy the flowering trees, shrubs, and flowers.  It is also the home of a new picnic table thanks to the carpentry skills of Bill Tucker and Nate Lucas.

The landscaping project was sponsored by the Senior Center and the Academy with the generous support of the Ludlow Garden Club and The Ludlow Rotary Club.

The Black River Valley Senior Center opens at 8 AM weekdays and provides a variety of activities and events open to everyone.  The center is also the local Meals on Wheels site.  Call for more information at 802-228-7421

During the summer months the Academy Museum is open to the public Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 12 noon to 4 PM.  It is the repository of Ludlow area school, cultural and historic memorabilia.  The Museum can be reached by calling 802-228-5050.
